This unit does not have the drawer at the bottom of it, it has little holes where stuff can drop out of it. I have used a small brush to get rid of the crumbs in the toaster.DurabilityIt has held up pretty good for me during the time that I was using it.DesignI do not really care for the design of this unit. It seems to be great for any one just starting out as it does not really fit my design choice very good.
